Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Mops’.

I am CRAZY about this conifer and I am always looking for an opportunity to add it to a sunny garden.  It is a fantastic shot of year round colour.  It is slow growing and has fine thread like foliage.  I added three to my own garden this summer and even in December the colour is spectacular. The expected height for this conifer in Ottawa is 1m height and spread 1.5m.  This picture is from Iseli nurseries in the United States.  They have been very kind to share some of their photos.
